About Multioculus

Multioculus is a family-run distributor of security, audio-visual and power hardware, based in Los Angeles. We supply the people who buy this equipment for a living.

Who runs Multioculus

Multioculus is owned and run by a husband-and-wife team who work in the business every day. There is no call centre and no account rotation. When you send a parts list, one of the owners reads it, and when something goes wrong on a job site, the person who answers is the person who can fix it.

That is the whole reason to buy from us rather than from a national catalogue house. We are not going to beat a billion-dollar reseller on volume rebates. What we can do is answer quickly, check stock properly before we commit, and take responsibility when a delivery slips. For most of our customers, on most orders, that turns out to matter more than a percentage point.

Small enough to reach the owners. Set up for the way procurement actually works: purchase orders, tax-exempt orders, W-9 and references on request, and NDAA and TAA compliant lines for public-sector buyers.

Who we sell to

Security integrators and installers, IT and facilities teams, government agencies, school districts and universities, healthcare, and enterprises running their own networks. Most of what we do is quoted work: somebody sends a parts list, and we come back with pricing, confirmed availability and a ship date.

What we carry

More than 600 products across Axis Communications, Epson, Logitech, 2N, Yealink, Philips, Buffalo, Samsung, VIVOTEK and APC, spanning network cameras and access control, video conferencing, commercial displays and network audio, projectors, UPS and rack power, PoE switching and storage, and the mounts and accessories that go with them.

Browse security cameras and surveillance, video conferencing, UPS and power, or the full catalogue.

How we source

We buy through authorised United States distribution. When you ask about a part, we check live distributor stock before we answer.

We do not promise stock we have not confirmed. If we cannot get something, or the lead time is bad, we say so. A wrong ship date costs you a project schedule, and it costs us the relationship.

Why buy from a distributor rather than direct

  • One purchase order, many brands. Cameras, switches, mounts and power on a single quote instead of four suppliers.
  • Sourcing for the awkward parts. Discontinued, back-ordered or long-lead items are the ones worth calling about.
  • Public-sector purchasing. Purchase orders, tax-exempt orders, W-9 and references.
  • TAA-compliant options where a federal or state contract requires them.
