Tripp Lite Smart Online UPS systems offer high-performance power protection, ideal for critical server and network equipment in data centers, computer rooms, and network closets. The double-conversion online uninterruptible power supply (UPS) maintains perfectly regulated output power by continuously converting raw AC input to DC and then back to AC output. The fully regulated sine wave AC output with +/-2% voltage regulation powers network equipment continuously, even during severe brownouts and surges, all without depleting the UPS's battery reserves. It maintains battery-derived AC output during power failures with zero transfer time. Extended runtime options: The interactive LCD interface reports UPS operating mode, detailed UPS data, and site power, and allows for a variety of UPS configuration and setup options. Highly efficient operation in an optional economy mode saves BTU heat output and energy costs. The network management interfaces support communication via USB, RS-232, contact closure, and an optional SNMP WEBCARD network interface. The built-in DB9 port provides enhanced RS-232 data and basic contact closure monitoring capability. The HID-compliant USB interface allows integration with built-in power management and automatic shutdown features in Windows and Mac OS X. PowerAlert monitoring software and complete cabling are included. An emergency power-off (EPO) interface is also included. The LED display reports the UPS operating mode, line power availability, battery mode operation, inverter operation, ECO mode status, and available power. The LED/LCD display panel rotates easily for viewing in rack or tower configurations. An audible alarm with LCD configuration options includes silent mode and momentary alarm cancellation via push button. Programmable self-test and fault-tolerant auto-bypass mode are also included. Internal batteries and external, hot-swappable battery packs are field-replaceable.
